How to register for Right to Repair
In conjunction with the Right to Repair legislation introduced by the European Union, your organization can become a third-party repairer of selected SMART displays by completing our registration form and providing the following information:
- Proof of valid liability insurance (€500,000 minimum)
- Proof of technical competence to repair electronic displays and compliance with the applicable regulations for repairers of electrical equipment in the Member States where your business operates.
- A valid business license
- A signed copy of SMART’s non-disclosure agreement
Warranty exclusion
- Third-party repairers are not authorized repair personnel
- Any repairs done to in-warranty product will void the product’s warranty with SMART
- Warranty exclusion applies: if an in-warranty interactive display is altered or serviced by anyone other than SMART authorized repair personnel, the SMART warranty is voided.
To determine the SMART Board interactive display’s model and warranty status, enter the serial number on this page.
